What are they? Small Bible Study groups that are based in members’ homes.
Spiritual growth is not so much about "doing" as it is about "becoming" - becoming more like Christ. It's a life-long adventure that takes patience, commitment, and intentional focus. It's not what we do along the way that’s important, but what really matters is who we are becoming in the process. Ultimately, the Christian life is about building an intimate relationship with Jesus as the Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out.
Our Growth, or Fellowship, groups meet fortnightly and currently we have 4 groups which meet at various times of day and days of the week at various locations. We have previously studied different books of the bible such as Job, Psalms, James & Romans, and also used notes to help us look at themes such as Self Esteem, Decisions & Joy.
We believe that these small groups (no more than 6-8) form the relationships that make the difference in our spiritual growth. You will have confidence in your group’s confidentiality, and the ability to come as you are, whether you have a deep faith or whether you are just starting out on your journey with Christ.
