Newhaven is an energetic church in which the members share in Christ’s ministry to each other and the community. We believe that we are all called to “ministry” in the sense of being called to Christian service, and that each member of the Body of Christ has been given gifts through God’s generous Spirit. We have a culture of encouraging people to discover their gifts and use them in the life and mission of the church.
Worship is conducted by our Minister, Rev Peter Bluett. Currently we have morning worship every Sunday, and evening worship on alternate Sundays. Newhaven Church is also blessed with many members of the congregation who are willing to share in aspects of worship, and take responsibility for monthly services designed for family worship. We thrive on variety.
We believe in being a community where people find space to contribute so that we can build up the church together.
